Criminal Justice Planning provides technical assistance and training for current and prospective criminal justice grantees in the ATCOG region. The Criminal Justice program provides
approximately 300 units of service annually, and receives funding from the Criminal Justice Division of the Governor's Office (CJD).

Law Enforcement Training provides basic and advanced training for all law enforcement officers through East Texas Police Academy CJD provides funding to train approximately 700 officers annually.

Out-of region training funds are also available on a reimbursement basis with the required request and documentation.
